4 days

We leave for Africa in four days. I've started packing today... just getting everything in order for our trip! Me and mom went to Dollar Tree today and collected lots of elf and santa hats for the kids to wear in the orphanage! I am so excited to get back, exams are (surprisingly) not holding me back any :)

Please pray for safe travels and safety over in Ghana. Also keep us in our prayers as we are away from our families during the holiday season and Christmas; we will surely miss you guys!! I will try to keep this blog updated during my stay, so continue following me to view updates from our trip! I will try and keep everyone informed!

My name is Catherine Livesay, and I am currently living with my mom in Germantown, TN. Just trying to save money so I can return to my favorite place, Africa. God has definitely placed a calling on my heart to help others. I have just recently been lead to my calling in Ghana, Africa where I have experienced what is it to be loved. By being in Ghana over this past summer I have started a fundraising page to raise money for a well in Africa in memory of my father Shawn Livesay. I am trying to raise about $14,000 through a Christian website WorldVision. The proceeds will go directly to WorldVision and then be directed onto start building up for the well.
