The most unbelievable experience of my life

Wow. I do not even know where to start. Rome has been absolutely beautiful! Today we went to the Vatican and the Sistine chapel. There are barely any words to describe what I saw today. There really is nothing to say but wow. I don't even think the pictures I took do it justice at all. We saw the original sculptures and paintings of Michael Angelo of Jesus and Mary and Joseph and the apostles and Adam and eve and just everyone basically back in ancient biblical time. Not only was that unreal and amazing but actually being able to see Michael Angelo's original work it absolutely phenomenal! I've seen it all in history books throughout highschool but to actually be able to see it in person and absorb it and take it all in is a completely different and surreal experience. Everyone must go see this! My favorite piece of michael Angelo's is the statue of the virgin Mary holding Jesus. I got a small statue of the sculpture and want to get a painting of it next. This is Michael Angelo's most famous sculpture and one of his very first he did for the pope.

The sistine chapel was absolutely unreal. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I read the whole bible today scene by scene picture by picture. Michael Angelo painted out practically every major and historical biblical scene on the walls and ceilings of the Sistine chapel starting with Adam and eve to Mary and Joseph all the way to the last judgement. It was so surreal. Everything was included and his artwork is phenomenal! No wonder he is the greatest and most talented artist who EVER LIVED!!!! And I saw his original artwork! Crazy!!!

The Vatican :

The Sistine chapel and where the pope lives:

The girls in front of the Sistine chapel and the Vatican in the Vatican city:

Me with one of Michael Angelo's sculptures of Apollo (the original Jesus christ in ancient Greek and roman time) :

Me with one of the original paintings inside the Vatican of Jesus Christ and the people and his apostles watching him flee up to heaven:

Me with one of the original ancient tapestries of Mary giving birth to baby Jesus in Jerusalem. The manger scene..... Remarkable breathtaking wonderful. There are not enough words to describe this scene... Magical and unreal maybe?:

Resurrection day outside the tomb that Jesus moved and all his apostles in awe:

Me with the guards outside of the Vatican:

Basically this experience is absolutely astonishing and I don't know what else I can say to make you all believe what I saw. It's really hard for everyone else just looking at the pictures to get a real understanding and feel of it because they just have to be there and take it all in and experience it for themselves really. Other than that all I can say is wow it was just such a remarkable experience and every single person needs to go to the Vatican and the Sistine chapel in Rome. Words can't describe this experience. It is definitely surreal and life changing. It just puts everything into perspective. Historical and biblical and so magical. I loved every minute of this!!!
